Hello there! Today’s card has a colorful background that was inspired by the stamp set.
I love it when ideas just come together. I was looking through my stash of stamps when I came across this little cutie from Sugar Pea Designs.
One of the neat things about this stamp set, besides the cute dragon, is the accessories he comes with. This makes this stamp so special. He comes with a kite, cake, a bubble wand and a whirly pinwheel. So much fun and you can make this card for so many event; birthdays, congratulations, encouragement… the list goes on.
An idea hit me immediately. I wanted this little guy to be engulfed with bubbles as he’s blowing them. The only problem was I didn’t have a paper that suited my vision. I setout to make my own and that’s how the idea to create a polka dot stencil came to be.
Who doesn’t love a polka dot background? This is one of my favorite creations and don’t be surprised to see it again in the near future.
