Day Six: Elegant Wreath

Holiday Card Series

Today is Day Six of the Holiday card series, and I am sharing a traditional Christmas card. A boldly decorated wreath takes center stage and a pretty foiled sentiment ads the elegant greeting.

I find that many companies are coming up with some really clever coordinating supplies to make cardmaking easier. In this card, I used an embossing folder that had a coordinating die. The embossing folder is the 3D Mistletoe Wreath from Altenew. I only own the wreath and coordinating die, but this product also has coordinating stencil. These product make assembling a card very quick and mass production possible.

I created this card my embossing the white cardstock die cut and instead of coloring, I added red gems to the wreath for a pop of color. I mounted the wreath on to a white card base with a gold foiled Merry Christmas at the bottom.
